Lau's novella "Wrong Number" (or "Hung Up"?) reminds me of German director/screenwriter's cult-fame "Run Lola Run!" a film which explores the possibilities of life based on the slightest variation in timing, decisions, chance, and emotions.
And the following lines from 花樣年華 &對倒 have also reached cult status in HK:
guess not sing-a-long (though that was his first collaboration with Eric Kwok...)... my favorite from this album is probably <快高長大>, subtly dark (while some other tracks are seemingly heavy)~
